Product Description
Galvanized corrugated steel culvert pipes are mainly made of high-strength steel strips, which are cold-rolled into corrugated shapes and then treated with hot-dip galvanizing process on the surface.
Strong compressive strength: The corrugated structure design enhances the ring stiffness and deformation resistance, and can withstand large soil pressure and external loads, making it suitable for high fill or heavy-duty traffic sections.
Good impact resistance: The toughness of steel enables it to resist external impacts such as foundation settlement and earthquakes, reducing the risk of rupture.
Galvanized protective layer: Through hot-dip galvanizing process, it effectively prevents steel corrosion and extends its service life (generally up to 50 years or more).
Optional coating upgrade: In highly corrosive environments, epoxy resin, asphalt coating, etc. can be added to further prevent corrosion.
Compared to concrete pipes, the weight is only 1/5~1/10, and the transportation and installation costs are low, especially suitable for remote or complex terrain areas.
The surface of professionally produced steel corrugated pipes is hot-dip galvanized and coated with asphalt after installation, making their service life far exceed that of concrete structures and almost free of cracking and disease.
